Bariatric Transport

Bariatric Transport

Bariatric transport is the transportation of patients who are typically in excess of 400 lbs. The obesity epidemic currently affects 1/3rd of the United States, and bariatric transportation is a non-emergency medical transportation of these patients. Bariatric transport is typically more involved requiring multiple people to move and transport that patient via a wheelchair or stretcher. Depending on the weight of the individual, we would also employ a vehicle with reinforced suspension to make the ride more pleasant.
